Mardin is a small town in the south of Turkey, where soap has been made according to the same recipe and by hand since ancient times.
The specialty of this soap lies not only in the fact that it is still made by hand in the smallest quantities, but in the use of wild pistachio oil. This exquisite oil is simmered on a low flame along with the olive oil for 72 hours so that none of the benefits of using the wild pistachio oil in soap production are lost. Then the soap is dried. The final step is to cut the soap after it has hardened.
Due to its calming effect, the Mardin soap is ideal for use on dry or problematic skin. In addition, the oil contains a large amount of unsaturated essential fatty acids, is rich in magnesium, vitamin E, iron and lecithin and has a natural antioxidant and antibacterial effect.
